Amazon's alexa voice assistant will soon
be able to mimic the voice of a deceased loved one.

Sometimes you think technology is going too far. Here, that may well be the case: Rohit Prasad, Amazon's chief scientist, announced last Wednesday that Amazon was working to make its alexa voice assistant capable of mimicking a person's voice from from an extract of only one minute. The ad doesn't stop there: in the video example given by amazon, a child can be seen asking him: “Alexa, can Grandma finish reading me The Wizard of Oz?” The device then changes its voice to that of the grandmother.

Scientist Prasad did not, however, give a precise date, but this macabre feature could very well come into being.
So it's not launched yet, but the subject is being debated. An announcement that many people did not welcome.
The scientist even said: "We are undoubtedly living in the golden age of AI, where our science fiction dreams and fictions are becoming reality." We are keeping an eye on the subject.
